If you set up Eudora to protect your computer's security and your own privacy, you also set yourself up for a somewhat limited email experience. At least if you want to read newsletters with rich formatting, Eudora disappoints. Not only can images not be loaded on the demand, Eudora often renders the text in odd and illegible ways, too.

Open Only Emails from Trusted Senders in This Way

Fortunately, this limited display is not all Eudora has to offer. On demand, you can send the entire message to your browser and see it in its full glory. Keep in mind that web browsers are designed to view anonymous web sites, not emails that are inherently connected to you. Open only messages from senders you trust in that manner.

View Messages with All Pictures and Formatting Securely in Eudora

To see a message including all HTML formatting, remote images and rich content in Eudora:

• Make sure you have configured Eudora to protect your privacy.
• Open the desired message in its own window.
  • Seeing the message in Eudora's preview pane (beneath the list of messages) is not enough.
• Click in the message body with the right mouse button.
• Select Send to Browser from the menu.
• Click Open.
• Close the browser window to return to Eudora.
