How to Add a Site's Feed to Attensa for Outlook Fast

By , About.com Guide

What comes first: the site or the feed?

Typically, I find or know and thoroughly like the site before I start looking for its RSS feed. More typically even, I like the site and do not look at all. Attensa for Outlook does the feed search for me.

Using a toolbar available for both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, Attensa makes it really easy to discover and subscribe to valuable RSS feeds.

Add a Site's Feed to Attensa for Outlook Fast

  • In the Attensa toolbar for Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, look for the RSS icon to be orange.
    • A gray RSS icon means no RSS feed has been detected for the current site.
  • Click the RSS icon.
  • Check the desired news feeds.
    • You can get a preview of each feed's current content by highlighting it and clicking Preview Feed...
  • Click Add Checked.

If you do not see the Attensa toolbar in your browser, make sure it is installed — you can re-install Attensa to ensure that; your settings will not be lost — and enabled.
