But even if you have set up AOL to save all incoming mail to the Saved Mail folder on your computer, filing certain messages manually has its benefit: you can use custom folders you have created to keep your messages organized.
Save an Email to a Folder in AOL
To move an email to a folder in AOL:
- Open or highlight the message you want to save.
- If you use highlighting, you can select multiple messages using the Ctrl key.
- Click Save.
- Select On My PC and then the desired folder or sub-folder.
- Click OK.
