If you have told Outlook Express to keep a copy of every message on the server, you can also set this option. It specifies that OE will not immediately delete messages when it retrieves them from the server, but after a specified number of days. This is useful to avoid your mailbox on the server getting full. The amount of days may depend on the size of your mailbox and the amount of email messages you usually receive (also take into account large attachments here).
