Add Signatures to Your Messages (Eudora Pro)
With signature lines, you can show off your self, your creativity, or the URL of your family photo album. Find out how to add signatures to messages sent with Eudora Pro.
Preparation
The step before the first step is the same as with Outlook Express or Netscape Messenger: know the content of your signature.
This is the "what". Here, we will deal with the "How", however.
Step 1
Getting Eudora Pro (version 4) to do with your signatures what you want it to do will take you around the program. Let's begin by creating one signature (or more).
Select "Tools | Signatures". This will open the Signatures tab. A signature called "Standard" has already been created for you.
Step 2
Double-click on the "Standard" signature. This brings up an editor window where you can type (and even format; but don't) the text of your signature.
Close the window, and asked whether to save your changes, say "Yes" (if this doesn't work after at least 5 repetitions click the button)
Step 2a
If you want to create another signature (one to use for work related mail, for example), you can do so via the context menu of the "Signatures" window.
Select "New..." and give your signature a name, for example "Work -- Schmork". The editor window opens and you can type your text, close and save your work.
