Forward an Email Message
Forwarding is one of the best features email has to offer. Find out how to do it right.
"To look up and not down,
To look forward and not back,
To look out and not in, and
To lend a hand."
Edward Everett Hale
Forwarding
Email has brought us many ways that make communicating easier. The ability to forward (just about) everything in a fast and easy way is one of the most used ways. But what is forwarding? When do you use it? And how do you use it right and best?

Imagine the following situation. One of your friends has sent you an email containing (among other, ahem, things) the following great sentence: "There goes the help, without having helped.".
This sentence, said to be one of Kafka's beautiful and true ones, fascinates you. You want to share it with Sue and Mary and all the others (and you are interested in what they have to say about it). So you forward it to them.
What Forwarding Means
Forwarding an email message means to send it on to other recipients. You can add your own comments and you can forward a message to many people at once.
To forward an email message, you will usually click the "forward" button or use an equivalent keyboard shortcut. This depends on the email software you use.
