Definition: Measures how many people of one hundred clicked on a link in an email on average.

The click-through rate does not take into account people who later came to a Web site in response to an email marketing campaign, so it can be used to measure the direct response only.

Also Known As: CTR

Examples: My last campaign had a click-through rate of 4 percent!

Common Misspellings: click-trough rate
