How to Send a Web Page Link with Yahoo! Mail

By Heinz Tschabitscher, About.com

Some web sites are too useful, some articles too interesting to be kept secret. Fortunately, it's easy to share good addresses on the web with Yahoo! Mail.

Send a Web Page Link with Yahoo! Mail

To link text or an image to another web page in a message you are composing with Yahoo! Mail:

  • Make sure rich-text editing is enabled.
  • Highlight the text that should point to the page you are linking to.
  • Press the Create Hyperlink button in the formatting toolbar.
  • Type or paste the desired URL.
  • Click OK.

To edit an existing link, put the cursor somewhere in it and click the Create Hyperlink button again.

If you want (or have to) to send more than just a link, you can send complete pages, too.
