How to Address Messages with Nicknames in Yahoo! Mail

Typing long email addresses is tedious and error prone. That's why you should avoid typing email addresses directly by hand when you compose a new message.

Address Messages with Nicknames in Yahoo! Mail

If you have a Yahoo! Mail address book, you can use nicknames to address your mails:

• Type the nickname of the recipient in the To:, Cc: or Bcc: field

and Yahoo! Mail will expand the nickname to the recipient's email address immediately or when it sends the message.

To enter more than one nickname in any of the fields, separate them by semicolons.
