Guide Review - Web2Pop 1.0.3 - Webmail to POP Tool
With Web2Pop you can access your web-based email accounts with your favorite email client. In addition to MSN Hotmail and Yahoo! Mail, Web2Pop supports many other services, for example Netscape Mail, Mail.com, Excite and AOL. Web2Pop acts as a POP proxy, and it does so virtually without configuration. Set the POP server in your email client to 127.0.0.1 and start retrieving mail.
Unfortunately, Web2Pop does not support outgoing messages, which could turn out to be a problem on the road. In addition to POP, an IMAP interface to email accounts through Web2Pop would be great. Also, web-based services pay their bills with advertising, which you don't see when you use Web2Pop.
