Guide Review - e-Campaign 2.96 - Email Marketing Software

It may sound like the latest buzzword in a superficial, media-crazy society, but e-Campaign is something mundane and useful. It is a reasonably flexible, quite powerful and easy to use bulk email application.

e-Campaign shines with a powerful HTML message editor that also lets you edit the HTML source. Another plus is e-Campaign's integrated bounce handling that sorts removes bouncing addresses automatically and respects unsubscription requests.

e-Campaign supports mail merging for personalized messages, but more flexibility and scripting would be nice. Message delivery is quite fast through either an external server or the internal SMTP engine, and mailings can be scheduled (though the flexibility could be improved here, too).
