Guide Review - MDaemon 7.1.2 - Mail Server
The core mail services are powerful, too, with impressive routing and content filtering. MDaemon comes with a great set of features to ban spam, including tarpitting, integrated SpamAssassin scoring filters and, best of all, Bayesian filtering, trained easily via public folders or by forwarding mail to certain email addresses. You can also make MDaemon update SpamAssassin and its rules automatically to keep up to date with the latest spammer tricks.
In addition to these filtering techniques, MDaemon supports SPF (Sender Policy Framework) to combat sender spoofing by spammers, worms and phishing scams. Due to the number of features, configuring MDaemon can take some time and effort, though.
