Cons
  • Instinct Mailer supports POP accounts only

  • Instinct Mailer supports Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP.
Guide Review - Instinct Mailer 2.55 - Email Program
Instinct Mailer doesn't want to shine with a feature extravaganza. Instead, it concentrates on a solid and simple implementation of the basics: multiple accounts, filters, HTML support, simple templates and a basic address book.

Unfortunately, the message editor lacks power and its interface is a bit confusing, and Instinct Mailer has a few other deficits, most importantly the lack of support for IMAP and secure messaging using OpenPGP or S/MIME.

On the other hand there are some nice Instinct Mailer ideas like contact coloring (all mail from a certain sender is colorized automatically) and the option to preview and delete mail right at the server.
