eClean 2000 cleans broken forwards perfectly out of the box and can configured to suit your requirements with numerous options. eClean 2000 is not so well suited for formatting replies, though.

Everybody seems to have those friends who forward everything. And if this wasn't enough, they (or their email software, rather) make sure the forwarded message is in a miserable state: > characters everywhere, and line breaks, too.
Such messed up emails are a pain to read — until you paste them into eClean 2000 and press the Clean E-Mail button. If you use Outlook, eClean 2000 is only one toolbar button away. Without much fuss, eClean 2000 turns even the most horribly formatted email into an easy read perfectly.
Using lots of options, you can make eClean 2000 do what you want. But while it cleans forwards wonderfully, eClean 2000 is not so well suited for formatting replies as it only supports one level of quotation.
