Sharp Mail Monitor notifies you about incoming messages in multiple POP accounts via its system tray icon producing a pretty bubble that also tells you how many emails are waiting per account. This is all that Sharp Mail Monitor does, however.
If you're looking for a mail checker that lets you preview and delete messages, announce different categories (or accounts) in a special way and maybe even filters out spam, Sharp Mail Monitor is not for you. Its simplicity is bliss, however.
