Further, though the name might suggest it, PopTray is not limited to changing its system tray icon when a new message tickles in. Well, PopTray does that in a nice manner, too: It shows you graphically and color-coded how many new messages have arrived in any of your unlimited accounts.
A clear and useful mailbox scanner lets you quickly browse, preview and delete mail manually. But PopTray knows even more tricks: using simple header filters, you can delete unwanted mail automatically, or announce special messages using a different sound, or even run a program.
PopTray also offers easy to use black and white lists of senders. The built-in filters are of limited use for detecting spam, though. Support for (secure) HTML rendering in the message viewer would be nice, too.
