A mail checker should announce new mail, not spam. With spam it should do something else: delete it automatically.Using MailTalkX' versatile filters, you can realize this. Not only can you set MailTalkX up to kill unwanted mail, you can assign specific sound to certain mails, you can even automatically reply to messages based on header line values.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to create a filter based on the body, attachments, or the message size, for example. Still, it is the filters that make MailTalkX a very useful one if you only have POP accounts.
