7way is a great mail checking utility with all the necessities, and filters. Unfortunately, 7way supports POP accounts only.

Ideally, my mail checker only announces relevant new mail and deletes all the spam automatically.
With 7way's flexible filters I can almost achieve this goal. A blacklist of known spammers exists, too. Regular expression filters would expand on that ability and make 7way's filtering even more powerful.
7way's announcements, the ability to preview and delete messages and its flexible support for multiple accounts make it an all-around great mail checker. It would be nice if 7way supported other protocols than POP, though.
