One of the most important aspects of email marketing done right is personalization. With its flexible mail merge capabilities, Mass e-Mailer is ready for that job. Unfortunately, conditional text with IF statements is not possible.
Mass e-Mailer's list management is not spectacular, but it allows you to import customer data, and lists can be filtered before sending. Since the editor is not very sophisticated and since there is no preview function, this can be hazardous, however. Delivery happens either via external servers or the rather speedy internal SMTP engine.
All in all, Mass e-Mailer delivers a solid performance without spectacular highlights, but also without major shortcomings.
