Reply Without Quoting the Original Message in The Bat!

Usually, quoting the original message in a reply is a good thing. Sometimes, it is not desirable, however.

Sure, you can simply delete the automatically quoted text in your reply, but The Bat! offers another, easier way to reply without quoting.

Reply Without Quoting the Original Message in The Bat!

To reply to a message without including its text in the reply in The Bat!:

  • Highlight the message in the mailbox or open it in its own window.
  • Select Specials | Reply without quotation from the menu.

Alternatively, you can use the default Shift-F4 keyboard shortcut.
