How to Add Bcc Recipients in The Bat!

To send somebody a blind carbon copy of a message you are composing, you have to add their email address in the Bcc: header field. The recipients listed in the To: and Cc: fields will not know that the message went out to the Bcc: recipients as well.

By default, The Bat! does not display the Bcc: field when you compose a new message, it only shows the To:, Cc: and Subject fields.

Add Bcc Recipients in The Bat!

To add an entry field for Bcc: recipients in The Bat!:

  • Select View | BCC: from the message's menu.
  • Use the Bcc: field just like the other address fields.
