Use the /CHECKALL Command Line Parameter with The Bat!

By , About.com Guide

Often, all you want to do is check quickly to see if you have got any new mail.

You start your email client, make it connect to all your accounts, and if there are no new messages, you close the program again.

With The Bat!, you can do all this automatically. If you

  • start The Bat! with the /CHECKALL command line parameter,

it will check all your accounts for new mail immediately and exit if there are no new messages.
