Make McAfee SpamKiller Update its Filters Automatically

McAfee SpamKiller is only as good as its filters. But yesterday's good filters don't necessarily catch the majority of today's spam.

Fortunately, McAfee update the SpamKiller filters often, and you can have the program download and install the updates automatically. Here's how.

To make McAfee SpamKiller update its filters automatically:

• Select Settings from the SpamKiller sidebar.
• Go to the Filtering tab.
• Make sure Check for filter updates automatically is selected under Filter updates.
• Click OK.
