- RSS feeds can be organized in folders in NewsMonster PRO.
- NewsMonster PRO includes a channel browser that lets you subscribe to popular feeds easily.
- NewsMonster PRO supports Mozilla 1.x, Netscape 7.x and Firebird and requires Java 1.4.
Integration with Technorati lets you make quick searches (Feedster also supported) and displays really useful threads of related news items. Feeds can be organized in folders, and NewsMonster PRO automatically builds a searchable archive.
Unfortunately, NewsMonster PRO doesn't include virtual folders, though, and advanced filters aren't available. NewsMonster also can feel a bit complex, and some details still deserve attention and fine-tuning.
Overall, NewsMonster PRO is a fine, though big RSS reader with impressive community features.
