Guide Review - NewsMonster FREE 1.2.1 - RSS News Feed Reader

NewsMonster FREE is the real NewsMonster on a diet: no searches, no popularity indices, no online profile. What you do get, though, is NewsMonster's nice interface to reading RSS feeds. NewsMonster can even extract content from web pages and display complete articles in a streamlined, easily readable format.

NewsMonster itself can feel a bit complex and forced, though. I think this has to do with the fact that, while Mozilla/Netscape integration is great, they have chosen the wrong app: NewsMonster would have fit perfectly with the Mail interface.

Still, NewsMonster FREE is a pretty way to read news. If you want to search and manage news items, see recommended stories and more take a look at NewsMonster PRO.
