Description
Guide Review - Fastbuzz News - RSS News Feed ReaderWeb-based RSS reading services like Fastbuzz News have a lot going for them: they're always online and aggregating news even when your computer is off, they are resource-friendly because the service needs to check the feed only once for all users, they allow you to use collaboration (providing a list of popular feeds, for example) and they are universally accessible.
Yet, there's always the suspicion that web-based applications lack in power, comfort and speed. For Fastbuzz News, this isn't true, at least not in general. Fastbuzz News is fast and efficient to use (you even get keyboard shortcuts), you can search all indexed blogs and feeds and even subscribe to the search results, and Fastbuzz News can send you new items via email periodically so you don't even have to (remember to) use the web interface. While the option to selectively mark individual items read or unread, a flexible system of flags or bookmarks would be more efficient, and Fastbuzz News doesn't allow you to organize your hundreds of news sources in folders. Browsing news and blogs in Fastbuzz News' clever interface is a joy, though, and the email-article tool makes it easy to share, too.
