RSS icon

The orange RSS or XML icon comes in a number of shapes, but essentially it always looks the same.

Heinz Tschabitscher
Definition: The orange RSS/RDF/XML icon points to the RSS feed of a site or blog.

An RSS feed includes headlines and blurbs and allows you to display syndicated headlines on your site or subscribe to a site in an RSS feed reader.

The RSS/XML icon provides a shortcut to the location of the RSS feed. The location is expressed as an URL like the address of a web site and typically ends in .rss or .xml.

Also Known As: XML icon, RDF icon, orange icon
