Circa-Send - Email Scheduling Program

Heinz Tschabitscher

The Bottom Line

A useful tool for sending scheduled emails while you're not at your computer, Circa-Send could profit from more sophisticated scheduling options.
Circa-Send is no longer available.

Pros

  • Circa-Send lets you send scheduled emails
  • Uses default email program to send mail

Cons

  • Scheduling could be more flexible in Circa-Send
  • Circa-Send sports only a very simple message editor

Description

  • Circa-Send delivers emails at predefined times even when you are not at the computer.
  • Circa-Send uses the default Windows email client for message delivery.
  • Keeps a copy of sent mail in your email client, too.
  • Circa-Send supports Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/3/XP.

Guide Review - Circa-Send 2.0 - Email Scheduling Program

Email is great: you press send and within seconds the message is in the recipient's Inbox. But what if you don't want to send that fast? What if you need to send an email at a particular time, possibly at a time when you're not at the computer? Or what about birthday reminders, for example?

Then you can have Circa-Send run in the background and send the message at exactly the right time, automatically. Since Circa-Send uses your default email program for message delivery you'll also find a copy of the sent message there.

Unfortunately, Circa-Send only allows simple one-time scheduling, and the message editor doesn't offer any comfort or editing tools.
