Add a File Attachment to a Message in Pegasus Mail

By Heinz Tschabitscher, About.com

You've got a holiday photo that you want your email pen-pal to see, you must submit that spread sheet by midnight, or you've written that recipe that your mom should have a look at.

Whatever it is you need to send fast, email attachments are the way to go.

Add a File Attachment to a Message in Pegasus Mail

To send a file as an attachment with Pegasus Mail:

  • Start with a new message in Pegasus Mail.
  • Select the Attachments pane.
    • Alternatively, press F7.
  • Use the Add attachment... button to select the file you want to send.
  • Click Open.

The default Transmission settings for attachments should work fine in almost all cases, so you can immediately return to your message by going to the Message tab. You can attach multiple files by using the Add attachment... button repeatedly.

When you eventually select Send, all attached files will be sent along with your message.
