How to Set up a Mailing List in Pegasus Mail

By Heinz Tschabitscher, About.com

You don't need a special bulk email tool to distribute messages to a mailing list. Pegasus Mail is a capable list manager and can handle lists of several thousand members. Setting up a mailing list in Pegasus Mail is easy, too.

Set up a Mailing List in Pegasus Mail

To start a mailing list in Pegasus Mail:

  • Select Addresses | Distribution lists... from the menu.
  • Click the New list... button.
  • Enter a descriptive List title.
    • I have a list titled "cpp_announce" that I send announcements about updates to a C++ Web site to, for example.
  • Click OK.

That's all. You have just created a mailing list in Pegasus Mail. Of course, the fun is only about to begin here. Find out how to configure your list, send a message to it, and more.
