How to Use a Special Signature for Replies in Outlook

By , About.com Guide

A signature at the end of every email you send is great, but maybe you want a different one if you compose a reply or forward a message (a shorter one maybe). In Outlook you can do that.

Use a Special Signature for Replies in Outlook

To set up a special signature for replies and forwards in Outlook:

  • Select Tools | Options... from the menu.
  • Go to the Mail Format tab.
  • In Outlook 2007, click Signatures.
  • Click on the Replies/forwards: or Signature for replies and forwards: drop-down menu.
  • Select the desired signature.
  • Click OK.
