Guide Review - Inbox Buddy 1.1 - Outlook Add-On

Email suffers from two (related) problems: spam and good mail with low importance getting in the way of urgent messages. Inbox Buddy is a smart Outlook plug-in that sets out to solve them both.

Based on an analysis of your email habits (and manual input about your relationship with certain senders), Inbox Buddy automatically organizes, color-codes and prioritizes the messages in your Inbox. Its guess is usually a very good one, and ensures your attention is drawn to where it is spent best.

Unfortunately, Inbox Buddy is not as precise when it comes to singling out spam. In my tests, Inbox Buddy thought a significant number of good mail was spam. Sure, it's easy to mark an email not spam, but it's still distraction of the Inbox.
