- Wrongly classified spam can be submitted for analysis and iHateSpam filter improvement.
- Detected spam is moved to quarantine folders and can be recovered easily.
- iHateSpam can pop up a window listing all quarantined mail, making recovery even easier.
- Spam can be bounced back to the sender, and iHateSpam can generate spam complaints automatically.
- iHateSpam supports Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP and Outlook 2000/2/3.
Without difficult configuration, iHateSpam starts moving spam to a "Quarantine" folder from where it can be recovered easily if iHateSpam makes a mistake. Such wrongly classified mail can be submitted for analysis and filter improvement.
Unfortunately, this was necessary a bit too often. But the detection rate did improve slightly over time, and automatic filter updates allow for some hope.
iHateSpam also offers a number of nice gimmicks: you can bounce spam or have iHateSpam generate a report to ISPs automatically. Custom filters and black/white lists complete the package.
