How to Queue Outgoing Mail in Opera

Opera can send all outgoing messages immediately. If you do not have a permanent connection to the Internet, or if you sometimes find you want to make last-minute changes to messages, you may want to put outgoing mail in a queue instead.

Queue Outgoing Mail in Opera

To set up an account for queued mail delivery in Opera:

  • Select Tools | Mail and chat accounts... from the menu in Opera.
  • Highlight the desired email account.
  • Click Edit...
  • Go to the Outgoing tab.
  • Make sure Queue messages (do not send immediately) is checked.
