Email a Link to a Web Page with Opera

By , About.com Guide

The good things become even better when we share them, and if sharing is as easy as it is in Opera, the multiplicator/accelerator effect makes the world a better place.

To email a link to a web page in Opera:

  • Click with the right mouse button somewhere in the page you want to share.
    • Click in the content area but avoid the links.
  • Select Send link by mail from the menu.
  • Address, compose and send the email.

If this method does not work for you (because you can't teach Opera to use the right email client in the right way, for example), you can always share links "manually":

  • Right-click on the page.
  • Select Copy address from the menu.
  • Now open a new email message either in your email program or in Opera (using Ctrl-E).
  • Insert an appropriate subject and paste the address into the body of the message with Ctrl-V.
