How to Remove an Address from Blocked Senders in Windows Mail or Outlook Express

Everybody can change their mind now and then. Maybe somebody got on your list of blocked senders in Windows Mail or Outlook Express by mistake. Maybe their attitude has changed. Maybe yours has changed. Whatever the reason, now you want to unblock them. In Windows Mail and Outlook Express, this is easy.

Remove an Address from Blocked Senders in Windows Mail

To allow a sender's messages back to your Windows Mail Inbox:

  • Select Tools | Junk E-mail Options... from the menu.
  • Go to the Blocked Senders tab.
  • Highlight the address or domain you want to delete from the list.
  • Click Remove.

Remove an Address from Blocked Senders in Outlook Express

To unblock an address in Outlook Express and remove it from the list of blocked senders:

  • Select Tools | Message Rules | Blocked Senders List from the menu in Outlook Express.
  • Highlight the sender (or domain) you want to remove.
  • Click Remove.

Note: you can also delete all entries of your blocked senders list at once.
