This article explains how to block a domain in Outlook for Microsoft 365, Outlook 2019, 2016, 2013, and 2010. Block an Email Domain in a Microsoft Email Program Microsoft's email client makes it easy to block messages from a particular email address. Still, if you're looking for a broader approach, you can stop getting messages from all email addresses that come from a specific domain. For example, if you're getting spam emails from xyz@spam.net, you can easily set up a block for that one address. However, if you keep getting messages from others like abc@spam.net, spammer@spam.net, and noreply@spam.net, it'd be smarter to block all messages that come from the domain, "spam.net" in this case. From the Home ribbon menu, choose the Junk option in the Delete group and then Junk E-Mail Options. Open the Blocked Senders tab. Select the Add button. Enter the domain name to block. You can type it with the @ like @spam.net or without it, such as spam.net. Do not enter multiple domains in the same text box. To add more than one, save the one you just entered and then use the Add button again. Select OK to add the domain and select OK again to close the dialog. Tips on Blocking Email Domains If you block large domains, such as Gmail.com and Outlook.com, among others, you will most likely stop getting emails from a large number of your contacts. You can remove a domain from the blocked senders list if you want to reverse what you've done by selecting what you've added and then clicking the Remove button to start getting emails from that domain again.
