Send a Message to a Windows Mail or Outlook Express Mailing List
To send a message to a mailing list you have created in Windows Mail or Outlook Express:

- Start with a new message by clicking the Create Mail button in Outlook Express.
- Click on the To: button (it also carries an open address book).
- Highlight the mailing list you want to distribute the message to in the left pane.
- Click Bcc: ->.
- Click OK.
- Type your email address in the To: field.
- You can also use a descriptive name in the To: field. Make sure you put the name in front of your email address, and surround your address with '<' and '>'. For example, the To: field of a message to my C++ announcements list could look like so:
C++ Announce <me@example.com>

- Give your message a Subject: and continue editing it like usual.
- Eventually, click the Send button to distribute the message to all list recipients.
- Since your email address is in the To: field, you will also get a copy.
Large Groups
Note that you typically cannot send an email to more than 10-50 recipients. To mail a group larger than that easily, you can use a group mailing service.
