The Bottom Line

Outlook Express Attachment Extractor lets you save attached files (or only the pictures) from emails easily. Unfortunately, it lacks really useful filters, though, and is a bit confusing, too.

  • Creates summary of extracted files

Cons

  • Outlook Express Attachment Extractor lacks advanced filters
  • Outlook Express Attachment Extractor is a bit confusing altogether

Guide Review - Outlook Express Attachment Extractor 1.51 - Outlook Express Add-On

Getting a greater number of attached files (pictures in particular) out of a greater number of emails can be cumbersome. Not with Outlook Express Attachment Extractor, at least not in principle.

You tell Outlook Express Attachment Extractor which folder to process (only one at a time, unfortunately) and it saves the attachments to a specified directory. So far, so good, though the interface happens to be simple and a bit confusing at the same time.

Unfortunately, Outlook Express Attachment Extractor lacks really useful filters that would allow you to extract only the files you need, and you can't post-process the extracted files automatically with Outlook Express Attachment Extractor.
