Guide Review - OE-QuoteFix 1.19.2 - Outlook Express Add-On
OE-QuoteFix attempts to fix it. When you reply to a plain text message in OE, OE-QuoteFix will detect that and automatically reformat quoted text so that it is properly wrapped and no unnecessary line breaks or quotation characters appear.
Unfortunately, OE-QuoteFix can't reformat dynamically. If you edit the quoted text you still have to re-wrap the text manually.
Another feature OE-QuoteFix adds is coloring of quoted text in received messages. If you want it can also reformat them to make them easier to read and enhance them with font formatting and graphical emoticons, and add random signatures.
All in all a nice and useful add-in, but not a complete fix, unfortunately.
