Guide Review - iHateSpam Outlook Express Edition 3.2.22
Outlook Express lets you build useful mail filters, but it lacks efficient anti-spam filters. iHateSpam Outlook Express Edition aims at curing this deficit, but, limited by the means of Outlook Express' own filtering interface, not quite makes it.iHateSpam does add some nice filters that catch some spam, but they also make a number of false guesses. Sure, misclassified mail can be reported for filter improvements — and iHateSpam will automatically keep your filters up to date —, but the whole system seems not flexible enough for really precise spam filtering.
iHateSpam includes some nice gimmicks, though: you can bounce spam back to the sender or report it to the spammer's ISP automatically and comfortably.
