- Confimax notifies you when your email is opened by the recipient.
- Confimax works by inserting a small image in your emails.
- When the recipient opens the message, the image is downloaded from Confimax' server.
- The server logs this and sends the read receipt in return.
- Plug-ins for Outlook, Outlook Express and Lotus Notes.
- Confimax can also be used with any email client and Web-based email service.
Guide Review - Confimax - Certified Email Service
With Confimax, sending certified email is easy. Instead of recipient@example.com, you send the mail to recipient=example.com@confimax.com, or you make use of one of the plug-ins, and as soon as I open your mail you'll get notified via email.
Unfortunately, you will only get a notification from Confimax if I use a HTML-enabled email client, if I haven't turned off fetching remote images for security reasons and if I am connected to the Net while reading your message.
That's a lot of prerequisites, and I can make the return receipt not arrive and still pretend I didn't get your message. Confimax is easy to use and nice, but not reliable enough.
