There's a lot of valuable information in my email archives that I certainly don't want to lose. Unfortunately, Outlook Express uses a special format for storing these messages, so it's not easy to extract messages, and if only a tiny bit of a dbx file is corrupt, Outlook Express refuses to load all messages in it.
Fortunately, I don't have to say good-bye to all my emails yet. Advanced Outlook Express Repair can still extract the good messages and save them as eml files so I can simply drag them back to my Outlook Express folder.
The process is easy and works predictably, but a bit more flexibility concerning the output format would be nice — Advanced Outlook Express Repair could re-construct the original dbx or mbx file, for example.
