Well, if you have a long list of subscriptions that zoom might be more like "zooooom". So what if you want to check if a particular channel has been updated (and don't care for the rest)? Do you have to wait?
No. NewsGator lets you check any feed separately. The process is not as straight forward as a Get News for this Feed button might be, but it's still easy and faster than checking all channels.
To update news in a single channel in NewsGator:
- Select NewsGator | Subscriptions... from the menu.
- Highlight the channel you want to check.
- To update more than one channel, highlight them by holding down Ctrl while you click on them.
- Click Retrieve.
- Click Close.
