Address Messages Quickly with Nicknames in My Way Mail

By Heinz Tschabitscher, About.com

As if having to remember email addresses (with all their numbers and underscores) was not bad enough, you have to type them to address a message in My Way Mail. Or do you?

No. Fortunately, My Way Mail provides an address book, and once you have assigned nicknames to your most often used recipients, you can address messages quickly using these nicknames.

To address a message quickly in My Way Mail using nicknames:

  • Follow the Compose Message link in My Way Mail.
  • Type the nickname of the desired recipient in the To:, Cc: or Bcc: fields.
  • Continue editing and sending your message.

If you want to insert multiple recipients (either by nickname or by email address), separate them using commas.
