Store Mail Locally in MSN Explorer

The space in your Hotmail account is limited, and soon you have to delete old messages in order to receive new ones.

The space on your hard disk is much bigger, and you can take use of it with MSN Explorer.

To move a message from Hotmail's servers to your local disk

• Select one or more messages in MSN Explorer.
• Click on the Put in Folder... button.
• From the drop-down list, select Archived Mail.

Note: Microsoft has removed this option from MSN Explorer with the introduction of MSN 8. While you cannot save messages locally any more, you can still recover them.
