Compose Messages in HTML in Mozilla Thunderbird, Netscape or Mozilla

To use the HTML editor for messages in a Mozilla Thunderbird, Netscape or Mozilla account:

  • Select Tools | Account Settings... from the menu.
    • In Netscape and Mozilla, select Edit | Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings... from the menu.
  • Highlight the account in the account list.
  • Make sure Compose messages in HTML format is selected.
  • Close the dialog with OK.

One of the advantages of the HTML editor is that the spell checker won't complain about URLs.
