Use Drag and Drop Addressing in Mozilla Thunderbird or Netscape

By Heinz Tschabitscher, About.com

Mozilla Thunderbird, Netscape and Mozilla have a very comfortable way of adding recipients to your email messages. Instead of typing email addresses, you can drop contacts on the To:, Cc: or Bcc: fields.

To address messages via drag and drop in Mozilla Thunderbird, Netscape or Mozilla:

  • Open a new message composition window and your address book side by side.
  • Highlight the address you want to add as a recipient in the address book.
  • Hold down the mouse button while dragging the address to the To:, Cc: or Bcc: field.
  • Release the mouse button.
