Install a Spell Checker in Mozilla

A major feature missing from the standard Mozilla installations up to version 1.5 is a spell checker for Composer, and for email. Fortunately, a Mozilla spell checker is in development, and already available at mozdev.org.

Install a Spell Checker in Mozilla

To install the Mozilla spell checker:

• Download the appropriate spell checker xpi for your platform and Mozilla version.
• Open the downloaded file in Mozilla.
• Restart Mozilla.

If you write emails in more languages than English alone, you can even extend the Mozilla spell checker with additional dictionaries easily.
