Maximize the Preview Pane Width in Netscape or Mozilla

The message preview pane in Netscape or Mozilla is a useful tool, but HTML messages can need a wide screen. Then the folder list at the left takes away valuable space from the preview pane.

To maximize the width of the message preview pane in Netscape or Mozilla:

• Select Edit | Preferences... from the menu.
• Go to the Mail and Newsgroups category.
• Under General Settings, select the right window layout, which trades a smaller folder list for a bigger preview pane.
• Click OK.
• Close and reopen the mail window.
